Ultra Wide Screen 3440x1440 fix from WSGF
I found a link to this fix on this forum. Thought I would make a new thread for those just starting to play like me. The very first link on the page by jackfuste worked good for me. I must admit that I havent played past the first scene where you are chasing an assasin, but it looks good so far. Others on the site had luck with it. I tried another file about 2 pages or so in that he linked and it failed, the game wouldnt run. The very first link though in his first post seems to work and it looks great so far.

Boy, it is frustrating to have so many game not support 21:9 ratio, 3440x1440. I just finished playing Battlefield Hardline, bought it off of Origins, and it played great with zero mods! Many games however arent so lucky.

Keeping my fingers crossed that this fix he has works well with all aspects and I am done. I dont have a lot of knowledge/skills to fix things on my own.

To get this to work you just unzip the file and replace the original ACC exe. file in your game file with the one he has. There is a folder he made for two different ratios. One is the 3440x1440 I need and the other is 16:10.

If anyone has anything to add, please do. I am still nervous that once I get on this game and really start playing tomorrow trouble will pop up. I wish the Flawless Widescreen app had a fix for this on there because all of those are really easy to use and install on thier own for dummies like me! Ive used that in the past to much success.

Been using this for a while. Works fine. AC4 had the same trouble and had a similar fix. Unfortuntely the two best AC games had their 21:9 neglected. Every one Unity has had native 21:9 support. Shame really.

Yeah, unity was fine wasnt it? I played AC4 but that was before I bought this monitor I think. It seems hit or miss these days on weather or not a game will support 21:9. None of the Resident Evil games seem to support it. They claim some BS like it is for artistic reasons, they want the player to feel closed in etc. All game makers should now support this ratio because the number of gamers out there now with these screens is way up. Heck, now some games even support VR.
I play this game across 5760x1080 - no issues out of the ordinary. A few "extra" in game video-things I've discovered are stretched a bit odd across the wide resolution, but overall almost everything plays nice with it.
It just sounds odd you're having issues with a wide screen resolution.

Well, out of the box it doesnt work. It squashes the picture down so it is thin and there are large black bars on the top and bottom. Apparently it doesnt support 21:9. Yours plays 5760x1080 without any fix? Very odd.

It is a known issue on the WSGF webiste. The fix that I listed here works great for me.

Not everything is perfect. The game itself and so far any actual story line cut scenes play fine (cut scenes play on my center screen only). The odd image stretching I've seen comes from the "extra" story tidbits you can pick up while walking around the office building, unlocking computers. That image appears to be a standard 16:9 aspect ratio image (meant to fit 1920x1080), but it gets overly stretched across my three screens.

I haven't played in a few days since the DLC for Grim Dawn came out. When I do get back to it, if any other odd issues arise I'll post about them, but so far so good on my end.

Im just so glad that the WSGF site is around because this patch works great for me. The picture is outstanding. Ive gotten so much help from that site. That is good it is working on multiple screens. I think it works because each of your screens is 1920x1080, right?

Can someone explain me how i can run this game on a triple monitor (5760*1080) with AMD Eyefinity ? Because when i strat the game, it's only in a 16/9 aspect ratio... Only the middle screen displays the game and the other two are black, any ideas please ?
