It doesn't state it cause it's obvious. If you're at all familiar with any previous AC games some/most of them have the exact same mechanic. I find it more annoying when they keep telling you how to do every little thing making the game feel like one giant tutorial.
I agree with you on the pointless repeated tutorials and I wish there was an option to turn it off. But when I had to go onto google to find an answer after trying different things for twenty minutes? I have never seen this mechanic used before Fort La Croix, it was never taught to me, and nothing in the game ever told me it was a thing. Like pressing "k" to pause a youtube video. It's there, but no one tells you. Where's the 'obviousness' in that?
Regardless, Thank you for the answer. saved me the painful itch of not being able to get something 3 inches above my head. ^_^
Does not work. Have tried BOTH SHIFT keys with the SPACE BAR for jump and he just stays crouched.
This does in fact work, just takes some super annoying finaggling. I had to get Shay right at the upper corner of the stump to get him to jump, and now he's acting like he could've this whole time
