Incredible abstergo lag
So as the title says whenever i am out of the animus and in abstergo game runs fine for couple of minutes and than lags incredibly well under 30 fps, when playing as traitor shay however doesn't matter where on the map stable 60 all the time i run the game maxed out at 1080p

my specs:
corei7 3820 oc'd to 4.0 ghz
16 gb DDR3
msi gtx 980 gaming 4 gb

It's not super important since u don't spend a lot of time outside the animus but it's annoying as hell, if anyone has any ideas how to fix it i would appreciate it, also changing the graphics from highest to lowest doesn't change a thing.

Any chance you have VSync enabled (either in game, or forced in nvidia control panel)? If so, try disabling it and seeing if that helps.

Tried it just now and vsync isn't the issue, what is weird is that i start at 60 fps in abstergo, than walk a bit all is stable, and than all of a sudden i see losing frames one by one till it goes to a bit below 30 and stays there till i close and restart the game, than i have few minutes again.

Just played as cormac for 3 hours in animus and there are no drops, also when i go back into animus the fps all of a sudden sky rockets to 60 again, i just know it's not a hardware issue since it is the only game that gives me such treatment, and my specs are well above what is needed to handle max graphics (which is also proven during gameplay self as shay)

I've run into the same problem. It appears that the textures outside the animus are incredibly large (at least, MUCH larger than inside it). When I turned down the texture option, it returned to the locked 60 I usually get. The game needs finer controls on texture size than just "normal" and "high".

Scratch that. Although it brought my FPS to a stable amount, it ended up crashing my computer with some memory error. Only ever happened outside the animus.

Yeah it is regardless of the settings, i always get 60 there then it slowly drops until mostly 10 - 15, and stays there until i go back into the animus. It jumps back to 60, however temporary fix is lowering resolution, game stays at 60 and there shouldn't be any crashes, because it should prevent memory leak, for me 1600xsomething (i forgot) worked just fine
