What happened to the crouch button/key?

Im not going to say anything bad about the game as you know what to expect from Ubi now but why have they taken crouching out lol? Did the other games have that complicated manouver?

There never was a crouch button in AC series, but you could (and you still can, I believe) hold the jump key and sprint key while standing still to crouch.

Actually AC Unity has a key you can separately toggle crouch with, and it comes in very handy, Rogue doesn't. Pretty annoying to have to hold down two keys just to crouch. Makes it pretty hard to move while crouched. IMO ANY stealth based game should have a separate key to toggle crouch with, period.

The problem with AC has often been that it is not a completely stealth based game. It's encouraged to bes stealthy but the assassins are straight up murderers and they don't really have problems getting their hands dirty.
