That's regarding my graphics, your resolution may be different, but the rest should work as is.
Problem is in the Uplay side of things. At least it was for me. Turned off Overlay and now works fine. Didnt have to dumb down the graphics at all.
I started with fancy stuff like God Rays and Fog and was able to keep the highest texture settings and such. Although I will say on my old rig heavy naval battles could slow it to single digit FPS... never crashed just was painful to watch.
New rig runs it max everything with super stable 60FPS...
