Help Needed: Cant Find a CD Key for Game I Bought 3 Years Ago
I bought AC Rouge on Steam three years ago, and it's asking for a CD key now. I don't see the key in my library, and I'm a bit lost. I've already activated the code on purchase but now its asking me for it again and i cant find it. Can anyone help me?

Same issue here, after the update, the game is requesting an activation code which connect shouldn't require after the game is already linked to an account.
Same problem here, activation code nowhere to be found.

You're probably using UBISOFT CONNECT-beta, switch back to STANDARD, then right click on ACR gametile, beneath the DOWNLOAD button, it gives the code....insert it, IT THEN GIVES AN ERROR message...then we may wonder together HOW IS THIS SO, as we have used this same code for years
but i using standard but problem still the same though

How does one switch to STANDARD? I can't find anything in the menus. Do I have to uninstall and re-download Ubisoft Connect?

On the Ubisoft Beta page it says, "From 27 November 2023, all players in Canada will have access to the new version of the desktop app, and will no longer be able to access the older version of Ubisoft Connect PC." Does this mean that STANDARD is not available in Canada (where I am located)?

Me and My Girlfriend are having an active argument over this

She's team Ubisoft and I'm team ♥♥♥♥ those french ♥♥♥♥♥ to hell, they all ♥♥♥♥ everything to every turn of the corner and frankly If they can't do one thing right I'm dropping my faith in Ubisoft.

9 Years of nuisances and for a Multi-Billion Dollar Organization you'd expect these tards to know what they're doing.

I experience the same identical issues alongside everyone here. I've just un-linked my accounts from Ubisoft to truly let go of these brainrotted ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Same problem here. Hope they will fix this asap.

UPPER RIGHT HAND CORNER JUST NEXT TO-''subscribe to ubisoft+''. words, here you should see the words, next to each other (Standared/Beta), here select Standard & when you click on game tile, the CODE is directly under the word DOWNLOAD. i OF COURSE reverted finding no success
I have the same problem have been playing this game for the last few weeks, and now suddenly it's asking me for an activation code that I already gave it This activation code is nowhere to be found and not In the usual places either. It's like they've all blocked us from our own games. I will never buy an Ubersoft game again. They are going under and taken us with them.

The same thing exactly happening with GTA IV title with the Rockstar launcher. needs code but its nowhere to be found.

Same problem for me

I temporarily resolved this issue by making the following adjustments:

1) Navigate to your game directory, which, in my case, is D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Assassin's Creed Rogue
2) Remove the file named localization.lang
3) Launch the game

After these steps, the game should start without prompting for a CD Key
