How I Fixed My AC: Rogue Not Launching

Hey all. I was having problems with my game refusing to launch. After poking around I noticed a lot of others were having the same issue. So I figured I would post what fixed it for me in hopes that maybe it will help save some other folks from pulling out their hair.

I tried all the obvious stuff. Reinstall. Restart. Change drives. Run as admin. Nothing seemed to be working. HDR wasn't the problem as some others have said (though it may be for them or you!) What I DID notice, however, is when I tried to launch the game from the ACC.exe file directly that I got an extra little popup that said "msvcp110.dll was not found." I don't know what that was or why I was missing it. But I found an article that recommended installing this package from Microsoft.

After doing so, my game launches without a hitch. Hope this helps some others get back to the fun part of gaming.

FIgured out a fix, just have the game installed in the same drive as your windows OS

find the game exe, go to compatility and mark the disable fullscrean optimization
