FPS cap?
Does the game have a "hardprogrammed" framerate cap? Getting annoying 30 FPS constantly. It makes the game feel laggy and slow.

its not a cap its how the game is made....
if the game was made that way, wouldnt that be considered the games cap? lol

yes its the game cap, so by having 30 Fps the game looks normal, you're probably having some issues with it panokkio its not laggy, or maybe you're just used to 60+ fps.

but in all seriousness there is nothing wrong with 30 Fps as long as the game is desinged to run by it.

and i saw The op have very little time in gameplay, play more it will grow on you : )
check your video card maybe you can set a vsync force on , depending on what your setup is though its different on all systems. Your monitor might even have a feature on it but it depends per system based.

weird, i would'v suggested for him to turn the Vsync off
might also wanna turn up buffering. Sometimes this problem isnt because your pc is too slow its because your pc is too fast.

Well Actually, I'm used to +100 fps so even 60 frames seems to be stuttering. And you're right, theres nothing wrong with 30 fps but I was just wondering if someone had a way to make it smoothier.

But thanks from the responses anyways.

ah well i am used to 60+ and sometimes 80, and i can see why you'd feel that way.
but some games are set to 30 and if someone broke that limit it would 100% bug+crash the game ( no idea how it worked on dark souls maybe it was set to get higher in secret )
and its weird because game maker studio games are usually 60 Fps Capped, which is why i find this weird having 30.

Well, if you design a game too run in 30 fps you are kinda bad at designing video games. It's a huge misstake, which a lot of inexperienced devs sadly do. It's a great way to make your game objectively worse, for no reason except comfort or the lack of knowledge. It's a fun game anyway. It's just flipping annoying that people keep doing the same design mistake, when alot of games in the 80's even ran in 60fps even with the hardware limitations that existed back then.
