Miller mentions looking at the back of the cd case or the manual like you used to in the first game, but I bought my game on steam so is there some way to get a digital manual somewhere, or am I supposed to figure something out relating to the codec number from the first game?

You can find a link to the manual[www.konami.jp] on the store page. When in, check "Contact Information" :)

Thanks. I eventually found this out without using the manual but that is an intersting hint.

I have perfected that stage now. I loved it so much, I played it over and over until I got it perfected and the test at the end perfected as well. I just couldn't resist. Deja Vu is great.

I personally don't like Déjà Vu mission at all...It's only a pure Fanboy useless mission to me that bring absolutly nothing to the gameplay.

If it were well made, why not...But it's just walking in front of objects and answering a few questions...

Complety useless to me.

There are other missions for Snake if you don't like this particular one. Have fun playing them! :)

What I didn't like about Deja Vu (it was fun, but this timey-wimey thing kinda bugged me) - isn't this Big Boss (formerly Naked Snake)? Yet he's "remembering" things that happened to Solid Snake... things that haven't happened yet.

Not if you completed the normal quiz it's not.

It's called a nostalgia trip. It's been closer to two decades since Metal Gear Solid came out. Personally I haven't even played Twin Snakes in over a decade. Deja Vu was a nice call back.

Mission breaks the limits of non-canonical. Similarly the Raiden one is noncanonical out the ass. These are just fanservice missions that have little to no story based logic, but are still fun. Similarly, explain the Monster Hunter missions in Peace Walker . (I really want more, Monster Hunter is great, MGS PW was great, and this is basically super Pacifism Sprinter.)

I loved that. "Those are Alaskan Field Mice!" "uhhh, no, no they are not!"

At 90% completion there is a great Easter Egg in the menu screen. People who thought Deja Vu was fanboy crap might not like it but those people probably won't care enough to play that far into the game anyway.

This one (spoiler) On the helicopter in the menu screen there is a flicker and Big Boss becomes old snake from the MGS1
