That doesn't seem to be the case with GZ, you'll get sucked into cover if you get anywhere near a surface, and it's not easy to tell how good the cover will be before hand, which has caused me at least a few alerts.
Would like to see a different direction taken in Phantom Pain, but I actually sort of doubt there will be any big change.
What key? There is no "Take Cover" key, as that would be perfectly acceptable.
Unless you're referring to my "Walk forward" key, in which case I kind of need that to do...You know....Progress the game.
And keyboard keys aren't like analog sticks if you mean "Pressing it hard".
There are two modes for keyboard keys: On and Off, no inbetween.
Lightly holding a key and dropping a f***ing anvil on it produce the same results.
I never had any issues with the cover system, because with the analog sticks you can walk very slowly if you want and Snake will only get into cover if you push the stick all the way, so you have pretty good control on when you want to get into cover and when you don't, if you slightly push the stick towards a wall, Snake won't get into cover immediately.
There are some games that are meant to be played with the gamepad and this game is one of them.
If you play the game with a gamepad, you will realize that the cover system is great, because you go in and out of cover very easily and control it very intuitively, so if you are under fire, you can very quickly change your position, you are never going to be stuck moving sideways only in your cover.
But not with the keyboard. With the keyboard I can see the system becomes an issue. And you muts know that will most likely NOT be corrected for the "full" game.
Yes I see that as an issue too.
Also, the camera on some parts doesn't work well. Particularly when moving between those tents near the entrance and going into cover behind one of those.
Outside of that, I see no issues with the mechanics that you simply cannot learn how to use, with a gamepad.
