METAL GEAR SOLID V: GROUND ZEROES

Serious question - Why is this game so short?
1 Mission?
I had no idea it would be so short.
I know there are some special side missions after you finish the game, but seriously?
1 Mission? roughly 35 minutes to finish the game.

Wierd.

The MGS: Phantom should be longer, with more missions?
And is there any information about when it comes out?

Thanks.

This is supposed to serve as a prequel/demo/introduction to The Phantom Pain, that's why it's so short.

What randir14 said. But it was also made for fans because of the long wait for The Phantom Pain.

Please do research before you buy a product. This is a prologue to 'The Phantom Pain,' yeah.

It's not short. I have like 25 hours and I'm only at 84% completion.

It's so short and costs money, because Kojima is a name.

So you just want to ignore all the other missions in the game? I'm not sure what you're getting at here. Do you watch a the first episode of a tv show and say "That's it, it's an hour?"

It would be more like watching the opening and post on the forum.

Well it has like what 7 missions? Some of the side missions are actually longer then the main one as far as I can tell. There is no doubt this is a hold over/demo of MGS 5 and I would rather have it then nothing at all, tbh. The ZOE 2 game, also made by Kojima was avg 6-8 hrs but if you were good enough 40~60 minutes. Same can be said of Final Fantasy games, Zelda, etc. many games can actually be very short and still be considered great full games. It depends on how you approach it though GZ is openly short compared to your average game and has since been reduced in its price tag, though I don't think it should go beyond its $13 price tag we saw when it first released.

As for your other question PP is supposed to be immense. Honestly, from the looks of things it might even dwarf games like GTA and Skyrim.

Hah, if you guys think 19.99 is too high you would have loved it at release on PS4/Xbone when it was 30 bucks. We also get both PS4 and Xbone specific missions (Deja Vu, Jamais Vu) in one version. The Deja Vu mission in particular will really tickle your nostalgia bone if you played the original MGS back in the day.

Since I got it for 13 on sale for the first day I'm not too bothered. I'm just glad MGS is finally coming back to PC.
