Who said there was a point, sometimes it's just good to get it out there.
Double Agent did not have any action sequences, or not ones that come to mind. Great game. I was generally referring to the last two Conviction and Blacklist.
I don't recall saying I couldn't get past it. Seriously, post where I said I couldn't... I bet you can't. So go suck yourself.
Spot on! :P
As others mentioned, the main mission is an extract, which has importance for story purposes. Finish it, then play the side ops for better, more usual MGS stealth gameplay. While it is tedious, Kojima included Reflex mode, which opens up the gameplay to a much broader audience. It is a good addition to get new blood into the series, but nonetheless is also a crutch. You can watch YouTube videos all day long of people running and gunning their way through the mission(s), abusing Reflex and never triggering an alert. If someone can pull that off with ease, then the extract of Paz is a cakewalk and is not "tedious" unless you are playing on Hard mode with Reflex disabled.
You are on the forums complaining about the extract, and I therefore said you're bad since I'll bet this is not a Hard mode/ Reflex off type of extract you're complaining about.
Spot on!, but you also said you hate stealth games, so again, why are you here?
The point of my thread was the fact that it was a poor mission choice which in my opinion feels extremely tedious and as history has already proven was not a great choice. A lot of people have hated this kind of mission in MGS and Splinter Cell before and I'm voicing them now.
Some of you people are looking waaay too much into it. Learn to read and understand guys.
True but you don't get a feel for the game by watching videos. Some moronic 15 yr olds might think so but I intend on playing MGS V which means at some point I'm going to play this.
Of course we're all entitled to an opinion but the raging fan boys are so up their own back side it kind of makes it irrelavant to pretty much everyone it would seem.
