Problems with a Crash? What drivers are you using?
Hello,

While there are a handful of existing threads regarding crashes or the game failing to launch, we're having trouble reproducing these issues.

Can you please detail what drivers you're using when launching the game, and for those who've fixed their crashes, please summarize what you did to fix it in this thread (did upgrading your drivers help?). I'll pin it on the discussion board for those who need help.

If you still haven't solved your crash problem, post your PC specs, including driver versions you're using and we'll do our best to investigate.

the problem is not with drivers, but with external controllers. game crash if any other controller than xbox is plugged in.

i guarantee you that.

Well, you're wrong. I'm using a PS3 controller with the Scarlet Crush driver over bluetooth and it works fine. Not crashing, no control issues, game runs perfect. It's hard to get farther from an official xbox controller than what I'm using.
Game crashes at startup (black screen, spinning circle in top right) no matter what usb is plugged in or unplugged.

Quad core 3.7
12gb ram
Radeon R9 280x

The game stopped crashing after I unplugged wifi module of my Logitech Freedom 2.4 Cordless joystick from usb port.
WIN 8 64

AMD Radeon R7 200 Series using catalyst 14.4

8 gb ram

AMD APU A10 quad core

Does not start!

HELPE MEEEEEEEE

When ever I try to start the game it says " starting up Metal Gear Solid GZ " but it only lasts 3 seconds and nothing happens afterwards and I am left wasting $13.39 cents for a game that can not launch.

I'm also having an issue with the game's memory usage. It's not completely stopping my enojoyment of it as I can get through about a half hour to 45 minutes but then Windows says it's low on memory and GZ shuts down.

Windows 7 64 bit
i5-4570
6 GB ram
Radeon R9 270 2GB using 14.12 Omega driver

Windows 7 64bits
AMD Phenom II X4 810 Processor
GeForce 9600 GT (340.52)

Game crashes at the second it launches, I don't even get any kind of screen. No controllers plugged in
Intel Xeon E3 1231 v3 - 3.40 GHz
8 GB RAM DDR3 1600 MHz
GTX 780 - 888 MHz - 3 GB DDR5 6000 MHz
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

Using Logitech Wireless F710 controller.

When i tra to launch the game with the controller plugged in, it crashes and without the game even start and windows shows the "program stopped working" error. If i unplug the gamepad, i can run the game without problem and then i can plug the controller back again while the game is running and the game keeps running with the controller working. I can play, but after some time of playing, the game crashes with the same error "program stopped working" and sometime even without the error. Always the game crashes like 10 minutes after i launch it.

Using Nvidia graphic driver 347.09 which i downloaded while ago and which has a lots of improvements for this game. Still the same problem and it was the same problem with the previous driver as well.

Windows 8.1 x64
CPU: AMD FX-6300 4.0GHz
GPU: GTX 970
Driver 347.09

EDIT: I updated to the latest 347.09 Nvidia beta driver and now it works
Legutóbb szerkesztette: sawsig; 2014. dec. 19., 12:42
Win 7 64 bit
AMD-A10 5600K APU with radeon HD graphics 3.80 GHz
8 GB of Ram

i get the "preparing to start" then i get nothing.

Same as most people, game has crashed before a window has opened for it, sometimes with the windows this has stopped working sometimes without.

Logitech Controller plugged in/off/disabled doesnt change a thing

The time between start up and crash is much longer when disconnected from the net.

Steam still syncs after every start and crash.
