I wonder if the ground choke and the stealth crawl were excluded because they didn't fit into military training of the period? That may not be it, and they may make an appearance in TPP.
No dude... they removed it because it was a queer move on the sentries. A lot ppl complained that ground choke made them feel way too f***ing gay. As for the stealth crawl it was too slow and unnecesary.
MGS4 is staring Solid Snake.
Lore wise, it could be their training and techniques are different.
To the topic, I think that TPP will expand on the CQC a bit. The gameplay is mostly going to be the same, but certain things are going to be different or expanded upon.
The Red Band gameplay trailer even shows a disarm move that does not exist in Ground Zeroes. So we can be 100% sure that at least SOME aspects of CQC are only going to be in TPP.
it could be... because all of us are simply speculating stuff based on what we know from MGS4 and other games of the series and whatever else info we have on the matter.
People, it's simple... the developers add and remove whatever cool or BS move they think will work best for the game at the time and then, justify it with lore if they feel like it.
