METAL GEAR SOLID V: GROUND ZEROES

METAL GEAR SOLID V: GROUND ZEROES

Constant mini-stuttering
Hey guys, I'm quite new to PC gaming and I decided to get the next installment of my favorite series on PC (woo!). Everything in ground zeroes looks nice, however, there are random stutters or mini-freezes that happen every couple of seconds. It gets quite annoying. No matter how much I changed in terms of resolutions or anything in the graphics settings, the stutter still persisted. Has anyone solved this problem?

Edit: Forgot to add specs!

8GB RAM
GTX 870M
Windows 8.1
i7-4702HQ

Edit 2: Well that was quick. Got it to work. I just had to update drivers and disable adaptive v-sync (just in case another newbie has the same problem). Runs amazingly now.

Edit 3: Nevermind, it still persists ): I wonder what it could be..

Remember to update your video drivers, Geforce Experience is a good way to keep it up-to-date always. That's been the cuase of stuttering in many newly updated/patched/released games for my system.

-Addition-
Also restarting your system after a update is a good reminder too.

I did this and then disabled adaptive v-sync. It works great now. I have no idea how I missed such an easy step. Thank you!
