What.
The PS3 is a toaster that is almost a decade old and it can run this game. I assumed the game would be like the PS3 version if you keep the settings low. My system meets these requirements, but still ... I am very sceptical about their reliability.
Also, Windows Vita does not exist.
People need to stop saying that. It makes you look dumb. There is no, and will never be any corrolation between how a console runs things, and how a PC will run things. Apples and oranges.
Today's consoles are very close to PCs, they just have no additional stuff running in the background, which makes the hardware requirements to run games properly lower. The PS3 is different because of its processor which you won't find in any gaming PC, still the technology is ~10 years old. You will not need a PC this good (as stated in the now deleted systems reqs) to run MGSV by any means
No it doesn't make anyone look dumb. He is right actually. In theory, this game should run very, very well on an old high end DX10 GPU that came in 2007, 2008. In fact, it should run without any problems on at least medium settings. Of course you can't compare a PC directly to a last-gen console, especially the hardware. You will always need better and more powerful hardware. But considering EVERYTHING that came 6 years ago is more powerful than a PS3 by at least 3 times this shouldn't be a problem.
Make no mistake, this isn't strictly a DX11 game and it shouldn't be locked for DX11 graphic cards only. The PS4 and PS3 game build are exactly the same. The only difference obviously is the graphical fidelity. Everything else stays the same. If Ground Zeroes will not support low-end hardware like it should i will call that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Recent PC games, most of them crossplatform too, have horrible optimization. The only way to run those games is to have a mid to high end PC. Low end PCs can't even run them, not even on low. They are locked on DX11 even tho it's clearly apparent that the game uses DX9 to DX11, depending on the build. And DX11 is just used for certain effects too. They could easily be disabled but there are no options for that either. You know, like BioShock and certain other games.
Developers just became lazy. So ♥♥♥♥ optimization, you can just bruteforce the game. Like The Evil Within. It doesn't matter if the graphics, the game, and the engine are last-gen and look last-gen, you still need such hardware to even get a stable framerate, ignoring the fact that they took their sweet time optimising the game for the last-gen consoles but not giving PC users the same options to get better performance.

Pretty decent specs if you ask me.
There should be a free benchmark for this game because I've seen a lot of people still unsure whether they can run this game whether they're above or below spec or not.
