i dont understand how you cant find the quit game option its in the main menu, return to title screen from mission and select quit game...seems like a trollpost
Initially, when I click on "Return to Title Screen" option using a Mouse, the game just seem to go to the loading screen where tutorial/tips are displayed. I just realized I was actually activating "Return To Last Checkpoint" and had to use the Keyboard's Arrow Keys instead to navigate to select options. It didn't help that I was using a Controller before in the living room TV using Steam Link and then switching to using Keyboard + Mouse when I get to my Desktop PC. It got confusing.
Also, I felt it was strange that it still transports the player to another loading screen after choosing "Return To Title Screen". I was expecting I will immediately see the Title Screen after clicking "Return To Title Screen" instead of making me press "Enter" button again to go to the "Title Menu". The game treats the loading screen as the Title Screen and the first screen upon running the game the Title Menu? wow!
This game really has a lousy UI design. Aside from this, its weird after I listened to a couple of audio clips in the iDroid, they were marked untouched again when I loaded the game. That means I should listen to audio clips only when I know I am about to reach a checkpoint in order for the game to save what I listened to? It doesn't track those small activities automatically?
I hope the Phantom Pain has a better UI design and saving/loading feaure...
It is literally manual saving requiring the player character to spend time going to that zone just to save. That would lessen the immersion I guess. hehe But ok, will check it out and thanks for the tip!
