is this a prequel or demo?
About to play through TPP single player, should one play Ground Zeroes first? Does it offer story or insight or is it meerely a demo of The Phantom Pain?

It's both just play through it once if you want it doesn't take long and you can also import your save file to TPP and get that nice sneaking suit.

It's a prologue. It's short, but it sets up TPP.

It'll help to get into the gameplay and he main game mission is just 2h long. Good preamble to TPP as it sets the storyline of MGSV

its basicly the prologe to mg5, its part of mg5 really just sold early because konami wanted money because mg5 was taking to long to release.
