Game menu bug, beep noise when moving mouse and unable to click
For the record, I got a strange bug in game menu : unable to click -no game :steamsalty:- and the mouse's moves generates beeps sounds, unable to lose focus to use task manager...

I found a way to prevent this :

On your steam game's list,
right click on Spellforce3,
properties,
local files,
browse local files,
open "config_system.txt",
You will see :

[Display]
// Whether to start the game in fullscreen or windowed mode
Fullscreen true

change
Fullscreen true >>> Fullscreen false
save this file and play

Worked for me.
Hopefully I didnt had to go to discord whatever for the dev to upload a solution to fix their game.

I had the same bug in the introduction menu of the game, the inability to click on the menus and this painful permanent beep that accompanied the mouse clicks. I could not play Spellforce 3.

I found how to solve the problem with your tip to go to the config_system.txt file.
In fact, the Vsync is bugged in Spellforce 3, you have to set false to the line.
So the line in the file must be like this:

// Whether to use vertical synchronization (set to true to reduce tearing artifacts)
VSync false

I hope that my solution will help some.

Good game.

Good game.

So this just can't be played with Vsync?

Thanks. Turning off Vsync in the config file worked for me.

Hello,
I had exactly the same issue. Unfortunately, it was written no Vsync and already in window mode.
I switched to full screen and it worked.
You really helped me a lot.
Thanks, guys!

I just bought the game and I have the very same issue. I tried disabling V-sync as suggested and it seems to work.

How can they not have spotted this issue!?
