thx for info
After that go to controls and assign a button to Click'n'Fight, personally I put it on Alt.
During a fight you can now hover your mouse over an enemy or friendly unit and press Alt to stop time and be shown a wheel of spells that work on the unit.
I find it quite a lot easier to control fights this way, because I agree with you that SF3 has a tendency to get quite chaotic. Do note however that this doesn't work in Multiplayer.
Have fun :)
I think developers will lose sales cause of this, every other RPG Ive ever played has pause, for a reason.
I know you know he meant isometric RPGs and you're just being a ♥♥♥♥ for the sake of being a ♥♥♥♥, but when one looks at Spellforce, you could understand someone familiar with CRPGs to expect (or feel more comfortable) with a pause function.
I do agree though, that spellforce shouldn't have pause, it's just not how it was made, think of it as a MOBA with a story and you have your more fair comparison rather than to Baldur's gate or Icewind dale
