If you follow the list from left to right it would be the unit right after "Human keeper", this is just a giant question mark. I tried getting the exact name via skirmish though I would have to get to T3 and build an academy and possibly a forge to figure out what it's called.
Essentially I finished Aonir's blade in 'act II' and unlocked all the units I could find (Catapult, Champion, Mentalist, Keeper) but couldn't find any quest there related to the final unit.
Am I right in assuming this is unlocked as you progress further through the campaign?
When you unite the armies and free/kill the possessed lady maybe?
Since I play as human most, if not all of the time (Elves are too slow, orcs require too much micromanagement and humans also seem to have more blueprint traders) and don't really want to advance more if all I need to do is repeat an hour or so of gameplay, rather than finding this out four hours later.
You've lost me a bit here. I've already unlocked the keepers.
Is the last human unit the titan? If so, how do I start the forgotten knowledge quest? Do I just use the portal in everlight after 'the eye'?
Screenshot related; this is the unit I'm talking about.

PS: Thanks for the help so far, I genuinely appreciate it.
This wouldn't trigger after talking to isgrimm about examining andra's body, reinforcing a faction (causing mulandir/the nexus to 'progress') then interacting with andra's body
I take it the titan is the last unit to fill up that big question marked locked space? I didn't miss anything at Aonir's blade? If so I can progress hoping that I'll get forgotten knowledge after reinforcing another faction
Go to the Everlight Hyrbernian portal, visit the forgotten island, travel to the main Hybernian temple. You'll find that you can no enter the temple, finish the dungeon and at the end you recieve 3 blueprints (1 titan for each faction). Use them and you have them unlocked.
You can summon them through the shrines you find across the maps.
Do NOT pick elves first because that will lock you into a choice, so be warned.
I've reinforced the human faction and tried the above method and when interacting all I get is the standard "Damn you Lacaine." sentence.
I'll reload back to the end of Aonir's blade (I've not completed any quests since so I doubt I'm going to miss anything major) and see if it works this time around.
Edit: Reloaded back to the end of the quest at Aonir's blade and reinforced the wayfarers a second time, no change.
Is there perhaps someone I have to speak to in mulandir first to trigger this quest, or start the ability to trigger it?
I'll try talking to everyone in mulandir and the nexus and see if that changes anything.
Edit:
I just checked the world map and despite completing the RTS part of the Falcon's quest "Unwavering Resolve" is still there as an optional quest at aonir's blade.
It seems like the game is trying to force me to do things in the exact order it wants me to. I might go back and just do it that way on easy and finish it in thirty minutes but it's hardly an RPG if it essentially forces you to do everything the way it wants you to or you end up locked out of units via what appears to be a bug.
First I'll try going back to the portal in everlight, having clicked the living hell out of my mother's body and see if the portal has magically changed.
Nope, no change in the portal at everlight. I'm going to go back to Aonir's blade and see if there is anything I have missed. If not I'll reload back roughly about 3 and a half hours of gameplay, do everything the way the game wants me to do at Aonir's blade and see if that makes the slightest bit of difference.
If it does, I'll make my own thread warning of this pretty serious bug; there really should be a stickied thread regarding serious bugs here.
Yep it looks like I'm going to have to do everything at aonir's blade again as the unwavering resolve quest won't finish otherwise.
All I can advise at this point is to post it in the bug report section and deliver your save so they can pinpoint the problem. Maybe they can even fix your particular situation.
