But yes, its still bad and requires you to either abandon a map entirely due to such an advantage if your able, or just mass rush the main base town center/boss to kill as soon as you can in order to have any chance to survive. You can't wait them out since they have unlimited resources they will just endlessly assault your forces.
Here on my recent map i bum rushed the enemy base with my limited troops and team and killed their starting troops, then hung around the town center and started on buildings. There were other quests to do so i would wipe out all buildings and then head out to do a quest or area, i wasn't gone long but id head back soon and presto, enemy already had a half dozen buildings up to be taken down again
They made it extremely more difficult than the earlier games with the "sectors" breakdown of combat, not just letting you build where you want, but only in your annoying sector mechanics.
to resume in its current state the whole RTS campaign is just Broken and DULL ...
We took the outpost in the north in front of the ork base with isgrimm in it, but then we got zerged constantly. We fought wave after wave for around 40 minutes....
After a few attempts we put the difficulty to normal and started from an earlier save-state. We ran through without any problems and with the starting units...maybe 1-2 units recruitet.
Only thing we did different was, that whe fast forwarded the dialogues and lowered the diff. by 1. While in normal they had no outposts and barely developed sectors, they had on hard fully developed outposts and sectors.
Atm we aren´t sure what went wrong here
Expanded slowly and defended heavy, played campaign map for 2 hours and got all food on map harvested to troop losses. Then enemy just overwhelmed my defenses with his 10% of map and killed everything.
Why does enemy have infinite resources but players do not? Even on easy difficulty enemy will just snowball and kill you after depleting your resources. What a dumb game design.
