Second nexus stone
The table in the core is not selectable to place the second stone in a socket. Am I missing something here?

Same here (exept the "GOG owner" part). Island first, desert second. Finished all quests in the area including main story quest of course. Returned to Mulandir, talk with the crew, went to the heart of Nexus and found out that I cannot interact with the table. What a thrilling final for an epic adventure.

there is a bug post opened for that I found it after I posted, I am blocked and I got used having spellforce 3 in my life everyday for the past week :D

Already found that post. But it would'we been much more useful if I found solution instead... Nothing so far. Tried to finish the quest and gain the stone second time. Didn't work. Tried to obtain "alternative" second stone via the bug that allow to gain duplicate on the island. Didn't help: I aquire the stone but it didn't work either. Tried to change game's language to english. Don't know what exactly I expected to see. Hope dies last.

I tried also the trick with second stone( basically the third stone)

It almost broke me to tears. I need to review the game m8. This is the first time I will do my work without finishing the story first.

That's the worst part. But I can't wait. As far as I see it (by the number of posts) this bug is pretty rare and only the "chosen ones" confront it. So it's not on the top of developer's priority list. How long will it take to repair the thing, I don't know.

Unfortunately I'm not. But that's a good idea, I shoud've do this a long time ago. Doing it right now actually. Though I'll become a Nemesis Sword hanging above developer's heads! AHAHAHAHAHAHA..... That should stimulate the guys.

What worked for me is the following:

goto

SpellForce 3\bin_win32\configs\levels\map_005\Scripts

open Level.as with your favourite text editor.

Goto line 274, which should read:

else if( m_arrAF_Handled.find( "InitForge_AF2_SecondStone" ) == -1 && (m_Reference.GetHeroParty( m_iPlayerFaction ).HasItems( m_stgItem_ShaperStone_AB, 1 ) || m_Reference.GetHeroParty( m_iPlayerFaction ).HasItems( m_stgItem_ShaperStone_SI, 1 )) )

replace it with:

else if (true)

start game. You should be able to click the altar now. And a cutscene and some dialog should start.
Then save, close game and undo the changes in Level.as

Use at own risk though. I don't know if it affects anything else. In any case its maybe a good idea to make an extra save before.

Thx m8. The folder is incorrect (the necessary one is "map_008") but overall it worked.

After waiting one day for this fix, I did as you said, thank you both for your help indeed the map is number 8, off course I had to add my twist on it, I only deleted first condition, but it worked

what i had to do is go to a save where i still hadn't inserted the first stone and don't insert it, and wait till you get both stones to insert em. that's the only way i got it to work. i spent over 6hrs replaying the last stone mission and trying different things and that's the only way it got fixed.

It is the safest way to do it, but I didn't know you weren't supposed to get to island that fast so I had about 10 hours to replay.
