First thing - try to keep it spoiler free so give only locations, I don't remember where some of mine were but you know.
Only spoilers should be of course about location, try to be specific.

I'm not managing the list anymore, no time and I don't really play now. Feel free to copy what is in here if you want to make your own thread/guide since it is not my list, a lot of people contributed..

FAQ:
1. Spoiler much?
- We try to not spoil important plot points but you may see small spoilers in the list. Be aware of the blacked out text on one artifact, it is a huge spoiler.
2. What is "second visit"?
- To most maps you go for the second time after The Eye map.
3. How do I make artifacts?
- Below the list I wrote explanation for this, just scroll down.
5. What is Bartering 3? Do you mean 2?
- No. If you don't know, you are not at that point in story yet.
6. What about Isgrimm's armor?
- Some parts are mentioned on his separate list on the bottom of the main one.

Greykeep

• Impervious Protector - possibly statue (early campaign) not missable when taking the cave-exit of the prison. But no confirmation if it is 100% necessery. Details under Iskander Wilds entry
  
• Mysterious Page II (quest item) - not an artifact but needed later to get one (Ring of Mystics). Near the cave exit from the prison https://i.imgur.com/J8A07Hg.png

Liannon

• Impervious Protector - possibly shrine on western side of the river, in the middle. But no confirmation if it is 100% necessery. Details under Iskander Wilds entry

Farlorn's Hope

• Impervious Protector - Shrine in western part of map, on the stairs to the refugee castle. But no confirmation if it is 100% necessery. Details under Iskander Wilds entry
  
• Rol'Gar's Skull (quest item) - found in hidout cave on second visit (slightly NE from a little refugee castle), when Refugee Quest starts. Berserker note talks about it, there could be altar somewhere for it?
  
• Dwarven Token - found in NW part by the bear cave

Mulandir

• Axe of the Mountains part (axe) - SW corner, skeleton lying on the sand near some monster skeletons
  
• part of Master of Life and Death (dagger https://imgur.com/a/H3Ery ) - directly north of NW godstone inside the city (not the one outside). It is slightly hidden to the left of the structure, as seen on image
  
• part of Hammer of the Smith - all the way up North. From the northern middle Godstone on top of the nexus go to the NW. Go through the fallen trees and you find some spiders there. Look for a corpse lying on the brighter ground close to the spiders
  
• Noria's Command (amulet) - bought from the dude who comes with you from Unknow Island if you have Bartering 3 skill
  
• related to the big reveal in The Eye and the Cage quest in Iskander Wilds Andra's Eye (amulet https://imgur.com/a/UAuWr ) - after making Isgrimm destroy the Mind Controlling rune, quit and go back to him. He will then tell you some stuff and you will have an option to get the artefact or not
  
• Golem's Heart (shield) - in the elven part of Mulandir, above the Scryer there is a clickable shrine. You need Artifact golem core for it, people report finding it on different merchants but always in special inventory tab (bartering 3). Most people say it is on the Dwarf you bring from second visit to Aonir's Blade
  
• Amulet of the Dead - bought from Tristam with Bartering 3 skill if you save him in Windwall Foothills

Iskander Wilds

• Defilers' Bane (crossbow) - it is closed chest east border in the middle betwen north and south. Need 8+ dex to open it?
  
• Impervious Protector (armor https://imgur.com/6cFfRD4 ) - there is a shrine near a godstone on a hill, SW from the place you start with Refugees which u can click and a chest appears. Condition of spawning the chest unsure, speculation is you need to click three shrines. One in Greykeep, one in Liannon and this one in Iskander Wilds *maybe also the different one in Forlorn's Hope?). I got it on my second visit there, even though I definitely checked this shrine before. So the shrines are not confirmed to be needed
  
• part of Call of the Forest (helmet) - Nort East corner on a brown dead body (found during cage mission, you can't get it during Refugees because the gate is locked)
  
• part of Greataxe of the Chieftain - on due West side of map, in lower river area close to a small bridge. There is a VERY hard to see corpse in a little crevice that contains the halt. • Secret of the Pure (quest item) - second visit, drops from a lightbringer hero near the refugee camp. It didn't drop for me, maybe a bug?
  
• Impervious Armor - shrine a little north from middle gate in the wall. You need 3 Secrets of the Pure but for me 1 of them didn't drop so may be bugged

Everlight

• part of Duelist - code protected Hideout in the NW part of map
  
• part of Duelist - Slaughterhouse (available through quest)
  
• part of Pride of Nortander (armor) - on the corpse on northern wall of code protected Hideout. Between two lighted areas, leaned against the wall
  
• part of Executioners Blade (2h sword) - in the Mine on the corpse up north near the crane
  
• Guardian's Grace (armor https://imgur.com/YSWQx55 ) - drops from giant burning unded in the Mine
  
• Thrill of the Duel (ring https://imgur.com/FeUz6tL ) - statue on the southern shore of in the forest near the map border, requires both Duelist parts to get it
  
• Lavender Perfume (quest item) - bought in Everlight from trader with potions and Firenettle. Used to get the Ring below
  
• Ring of the Sacred Rite - undead Falar in Sewers (NW from the park entrance in a dead end). Talk to him while having above Perfumes to trigger fight
  
• part of Shield of the Benedictus - when you exit NE gate, follow wall to the north and then west. The part is on a corpse, which is lying in front of a huge tree right next to the river, close to northern map border
  
• Amulet (increses all stats by 1) - can be bought from "Agitated Merchant" in everlight with bartering 3 ( just inside the southeast gate, in between 2 horse carriages. He sometimes walks to the west, to a well with an interacteable woman). Merchant is not consistent though, it seems it is the one you rescue from Farlorn's Hope but it doesn't spawn for everyone as it seems
  
• Dave's Butter Knife (joke ertefact https://i.imgur.com/TiLlkn9.jpg ) - near the place where Clara and merchants are, the are some tables. Leftmost has named npc, you can click one of them and he will fight you

Leafshade

• part of Shield of Benediction - on a corpse in a shrine like structure near the human outpost. NE part of the map
  
• Fang of the Great Arachnid (quest item) - located along the west hand side towards the south western corner, the item itself is located upon a dead body beside a half submerged shack.May be difficult to click because of the shack
  
• Old Mysterious Page I (quest item) - not an artifact but needed later to get one (Ring of Mystics). Near elven building close to waterfall, slightly below elven village https://i.imgur.com/7TTTvtU.png

Foot of Barga Gor

• part of Call of the Forest (helmet https://i.imgur.com/QkC2MAj.jpg ) - inside the Caves where you meet companion. Near a bonfire with a pot on corpse. It is against the wall when you look north east from the bonfire. On the screenshot Yria is standing next to the corpse
  
• Star in the Dusk (1h mace https://imgur.com/3Smw2Wj ) - at the bottom of the map there's an altar that will spawn a chest if your main character has at least 8 or 9 strength.
  
• part of Shield of Benedictus - second visit, dunno if it was there first tim. From the Northern Godstone (the one slightly to the east, not the middle one) go straight up. There will be the abomination enemy. north of him is a body with some items, west of him is the bag with artifact part
  
• part of Executioners Blade - under the arch-like thingy in the north. From northmost, middle godstone go west along the road and under the arch which will be right after the crossroada https://ibb.co/iLsnc6

Unknown Island

• part of Sword of the Renegade - inside medusae fortress, near the Tower to the east https://imgur.com/a/VlriE
  
• part of Master of Life and Death (dagger) - inside the Temple on second visit. NW corner of the map, near the stair before the table which is quest objective
  
• Shield of Deadly Allure ( https://imgur.com/R9651Sl ) - using all serpent stones on monument on top of the hill OR clicking shrine in SE corner of Aonir's Blade map with 3 Phoenix Fragments. Possibly bugged because you can get 2 of them

Aonir's Blade

• fragment of the Phoenix - killing the demon spawned when you don't kill soldiers in the summoning circle, SW part of map
  
• Shield of Deadly Allure - look in the Unknown island list
  
• part of Greataxe of the Chieftain - found on the hill on the corpse slightly north from the summoning ring in SW part of map
  
• fragment of the Phoenix - second visit, inside the Fortress in a chest

The Eye

• part of Sword of the Renegade (1h or 2h?) - second visit. You find it near the deserter there, in a bag near the shack. East side of the map
  
• Ring of the Mystics ( https://imgur.com/A4qHSDI ) - in the laboratory. In the library, there is a table u can click on, and a chest appears. You need both Mysterious Pages, one from Greykeep and one from Leafshade
  
• Soulreaver (2h axe https://imgur.com/kArFeNM ) - second visit, it is in the northermost part of map right in the middle. U will see a shrine there and a sphere of light. In order to lower that barrier and get the chest u need to kill the 3 revenants which respawn when they die. U need to kill them INSIDE sphere of light. U will know u did it right when their spawn points will not be lit anymore (will not glow with the purple glow)

Old Haalayash

• fragment of the Phoenix - SW part of the map. It is next to the ruin in which the quest item is, slightly north in a bag
  
• part of Might of the Giants (greathammer) - in a chest in southern part of map. Directly north of western bridge to the "Deadly" area, in a chest in forest
  
• Van'Kareva (bow https://imgur.com/YdXPh1G https://ibb.co/m0bmjm ) - in the dry part of the dam. Where you fight a wyvern. It's in the chest near a tent
  
• Ring of Life Force ( https://imgur.com/yvnr5P8 ) - vendor in SE part, near the pond
  
• Great Bear Claw (quest item) - near the northern map border, to the west of the pool-like thing
  
• Wyvern Wing (quest item) - in the dried part of the dam, slightly west from the northern bridge to "deadly" area
  
• Secret of the Pure - dropped during destroying main enemy base
  
• Axe of the Mountains - Old Monastery submap, there is a combat with two bears on the far east side of the map, if you go towards the rocks just next to them there is a barrel containing Haft
  
• part of Executioner's Blade - In the very centre of the map right to the left of the statue on the eastern side of the dam there is an alcove with a skeleton (very tricky location)

Windwall Foothills

• Dreamweaver's Elegy (spear https://imgur.com/uTPI5NO ) - there a weak unholy altar somewhere in the middle of the map (on a hill with stair leading to it, can't really miss it). You need 2 Dream Essence to activate it. The essence drops from the wolves nearby, if you can't find it look for loot bags, Purity might kill them for you. Then you need to give Arya Potions to the altar, 50 or so and a chest will spawn.
  
• Human Token (quest item) - in a sack at the North Border of the Windwall Foothills Map. Right in the center of the north Border
  
• Decorative Sword (quest item) - SW corner at the foot of the undead castle, in a chest
  
• part of Pride of Northander (armor) - Inner Padding; Northern map border by some trees. Slightly left of the human token location
  
• part of Might of the Giants - on the western map border, there is small lake. To the right of the stone pillar by the lake, under a tree there is a corpse https://imgur.com/a/JjXbm
  
• Dwarven Inne Armor Plating - somewhere on this map, didn't notice when I got it but I didn't have it before going to Windwall

Scorched Desert: Oasis

• part of Call of the Forest (helmet) - NW side of map, where u fight a group a spiders

So how to get Artifacts from part? There are 3 ways:

1. Some artifacts you get when you click one of the many shrines in the game while having all required parts. If the item is earned this way, it should have notes about it on the list.

2. If you brong all parts to Isgrimm, he will repair the artifact and give it to you. Items which he can repair:
Axe of the Mountains: Haft, Head, Knob,
Master of Life and Death: Blade, Hilt, Knob
Greataxe of the Chieftain: Haft, Head (Top piece), Head (Bottom piece), Knob
Might of the Giants: Haft, Head (Top Piece), Head (Bottom piece)
Executioner's Blade: Blade, Tip, Hilt
Hammer of the Smith: Haft, Head
Call of the Forest: Top Plate, Bottom Plate, Rune
Shield of Benediction: Handle, Outer Plater, Inner Plate
Sword of the Renegade: Blade, Hilt

3. Some artifacts depend on what you do with the Dragon. You can either side with him - then you will get to chose 1 from the artifacts listed in the list - or kill him. Then you will get ingredients to craft items from the second dragon list. Be carefull though, if you kill Dragon Hunters you won't be able to, as they are the ones crafting the item for a price.

4. And of course some artifacts don't need anything, you just pick them up.

in the dried river on Old Haalayash where you can find the artifact bow is a shrine too but dont know for what he is.

Aren't they for "Hunter shrine" in Windwall Foothills ? That would be logical to give hunter throphies to grave of big hunter

And anyone found any "Token" other than Dwarven,Orc,Human ? In "The Green Coast" is Interactable statue of King Ayelith and all tokens have him in description. Maybe We need another token to make it work.

Windwall Foothills
Dreamweaver's Elegy For this drop you need the 2 Dream Essence drops, one drops near the altar itself, the other one I can't remember. Both are mob drops so be on the lookout for the little bags if the Purity mobs got to them first.

regarding Rol'Gar skull, the berserker note mentioned
"set up small shrine to Zarach at my new home and had it consecrated by one of the shamans. The spell he used bound the shrine to Rol'Gar's grave. Sometimes I think making these daily offerings is the only thing that keeps me sane."

At Foot of Barga Gor, there is an orcish cairn that "emits a faint, magical aura. It was probably blessed by a shaman."
beside it is "A well-made Orcish shield. An offering to Zarach?"

idk, this cairn fits the description but.. tried interacting it, nothing happens
its located beside a Godstone, middle of the map, left one

I can confirm what ghostbone1 suspected:

You have to buy the Golem Core legendary item from Rorik (dwarf trader at centre of Mulandir) using Bartering 3 (but getting it at some point is a no-brainer anyway). After that you can click on the pillar above Eleon to receive Golem's Heart shield.
It DOES NOT work with any of the purple golem cores - had many of those in my inventory yet could not activate the pillar before I bought the orange one.

Did that after playing Iskander Wilds for the third time (Cage mission it's called IIRC).

If you have Bartering 3, the easternmost merchant in Everlight offers a legendary amulet that increases all attributes by 1 for 40k. The merchant wanders around alot, so he possibly might be found somewhere else in the city.

I don't know the name of the amulet since I play the German version.

Okay, first off, thank you everyone for compiling this list! You guys are great! I have a few things to add:

1) There are 3 parts of the Secrets of the Pure, first and second parts are in the list, the third is found as droppable loot in the Eye, after you get past the barrier. I unfortunately don't remember which mob drops it, but it definitely dropped after you kill the initial guards at the steps of the fort.

When you have all 3 pieces, you go back to the Iskander Wilds (after the Impenentrable Cage quest) and on the former Iskander Loyalist (western) side of the wall, there is a small shrine to the All-Father and his 3 saints in the middle of the field to the east of the the Utran command center. Go there and click on it, you will get another Impervious Armor for a total of 2 of them with the other one already in the list.

2) I can confirm that while it looks like Isgrimm may be bugged for some people after completing is personal quest and after the Eye, he might not be. After the Eye, he no longer had a speech bubble for me, but once I actually gathered all 3 parts of the Executioner's Blade and went back, he indeed got a speech bubble back and I am now able to craft artefacts again. However, do note that he will NOT talk to you at all unless you have all the pieces needed for an artefact.

And btw, the Executioner's Blade is fricking AWESOME. I haven't had to chance to screenshot anything yet, been playing nonstop, but the sword has an unspecified chance of instantly killing whatever it hits... XD

i am right after the first visit of the eye and i had all pieces of the chieftain axe before the eye but he wont talk to me. it doesnt matter if you have all pieces of an artefact or not.
funny thing, a couple days ago they made a patch to fix ALL companions.
thanks for that now i am finished all companion quests but the most important npc is still broken -.-

How many pieces do you have? 4? Because I have only found 3, and that's not all the pieces, just checked the Artefact schematics and there are 4 pieces to that artefact.

Thanks for the list, i was missing Everlight Part of Benedction. But after i finish Iskander Wilds (3times) isgrimm leaves party and as I see in this list there are artifact parts that can be only obtaned after this queast. so what the ♥♥♥♥? who crafts artefacts now?
