Confused with the original game and DLC content

So I'm thinking about getting the game but I just don't know which one should I get. I heard that the original SF3 has an awful interface and all that and that they fixed these issues in the DLC. So will I be able to play with all the fixes in the main game if I buy both? Or should I just get the DLC game only?

Soul Harvest is a standalone game, the changes in base SF3 won't appear before the rework stated in the roadmap is finished. If you want to play only with the changes from SH, pick Soul Harvest for now and buy SF3 later (or buy it now and just keep it for later)

Thank you! I think I'll wait for sale then and buy both games.

I'm playing through SF3 now for the first time, haven't played any of the previous ones and haven't noticed any particular problems with the interface. If you're interested in the game I wouldn't let it put you off.
