PC Shuts down after a few minutes ingame

See title!
It does make it rather difficult to play, only a little though. Only play in multiplayer (i am not the host) Pc doesnt blue screen, doesnt overheat (i have physically touched all the bits to make sure) and this is the only game its happening with. If you want any specs or reports etc just ask

Stress test performed. CPU at 100% reaches 95C - no shutdown
GPU reaches 100% at 75C - No shutdown
RAM reaches 100% - No shutdown

I ran all those individually, and then for good measure all at the same time
No shutdown...

This game is causing my machine to shutdown instantly. My hardware is fine

My son had a similar issue, PC would shut down during intense battles in Skirmish mode. He could never play longer than an hour without a shutdown. Stress testing with Prime95 combined with Superposition Benchmark (both GPU & CPU @ 100% ) would not produce a shut down. After replacing the PSU which was 13 yrs old the game ran fine

I had the same issue with you with a certain game a few weeks ago. I thought it was because of the game. Performance test & monitoring software didn't catch suspicious behaviour of my hardware. So i just cleaned up my hardware from dust. After that, The game worked just fine without forcing my PC to shut down again

.

My point is, like many said, it is probably related to hardware problem. It reminded me though, being PC gamer, to keep watch on my own hardware.

New Power supply and the same still happens, 5 minutes in game and my pc dies and reboots...
Well guess i am unable to play this game.

And for those of you saying "Maybe its your Ram/HDD/Video Card/etc"
When i run Fallout 4 + 85 mods which uses WAY more power than this game does, my pc handles it just fine

anything in the event logs ?

Try turning off "Automatically restart" Right-click This PC - Properties - Advanced system properties - Advanced tab - Startup and recovery - Settings

Hmm... So it only happens when the game is played in multiplayer mode?

I can (and will) not test this, because I do not like multiplayer mode in any game (to put it mildly), but there is one thing in the system that's not much much used in single player, but does get used a lot in multiplayer. And that's the network.

So - if everything fails, you could check your network settings (especially "wake on LAN" and that kind of power-saving stuff). It can also be something with the network card itself. If you use a seperate "not on-board" card, try to re-seat it. If you use the network "card" from your motherboard, try to disable it and use some spare network card (I mostly have a few laying around).

I do not say this will solve anything, but it's a possibility. Other than that, I have no bright idea's left. I can only say that I do not have this problem and I play single player only, but it's fully possible it's also Steam related, because I play the GOG version.
