Report a translation problem
To be honest, I find it more fun to slay armies with your heroes than using your army. Because it gives a sense of a challenge, and requires to properly use your heroes like in an actual rpg (even though the action group system is annoying, especially with auras). But alas, everything dies in a couple of seconds.
The final rts battle was pretty lame though, since it's about 2 bridge chokepoints, one where the enemy sends a few troops and 1 where it just sends horde after horde. The way to beat it is as Keaton said, defend the chokepoints and use some aoe ability every now and then.
