All of above. The game wasn't tested, they're most likely left with placeholder stats and effects. It would be obvious they are worthless, if there was at least one person to betatest the game properly.
From me applause is only for designer and scenarist.
To do something great with this game and attract a lot of people, such mistakes can not be allowed in future and this should be in priority.
I always believe that this game has a high potential. But It is necessary to want something stunning and not a middle peasant.
I'm interested in strategy of THQ Nordic what do they want from SpellForce, middle pleasant or something magnifically?
A priority of company?
I think it is the "medium priority".
For example I'd call "Cyberpunk 2077" as " high prioryty game " in CD Project Red.
WoW, Dota in Blizzard and etc...
THQ Nordic does no have any high pryoryty for all that they release.
Nordic is to blame. They're ex-JoWood, the company that was responsible for rushing Gothic 3 SIX MONTHS before planned release. I don't have to remind you how god awful buggy and unoptimized that game had been. Hell, it still is barely playable, after gigabytes of fan patches.
Soulreaver gives health and focus back on kill, it has that in description, except it doesn't give you numbers.
The spear I don't know if it has any bonuses they are hidden quite well :D.
