If you have an Asus ROG G752VS and crash try this

Asus Rog G752VS OCed here. (Nvidia GTX 1070)
I have updated several system components and currently the game runs stable.
Switched levels multiple times in the city and started Liannon mission.

I did the following:

Deinstall ASUS Gaming Center and ATK-Pack (reboot required)
Download from Asus-site:
ATK-Pack
Gaming Center
Chipset driver
Intel Management driver (IMEI) Power regulation
Bios (had 306, newest version 310 in Bios updater shown, download via updater from the net)
Bios updater

Download from nvidia:
Driver 388.43

then:
Downgrade Graphics driver to 388.43 (had youtube graphic fragments with latest)
Flash BIOS via "WinFlash" while Laptop is on the mains (reboot required)
Install chipset driver (reboot required)
Install Intel IMEI driver (reboot required)
Install ATK-Pack (reboot required)
Install Gaming center and set profiles (no Memory clearing activated) (reboot required)

Edit: See below post. Worked for some time, but still crashes occurred.

Update:
Patchlevel 1.11
I had crashes with the above configuration.
I now added the following:

Installed Turbo Gear from Asus
Installed GPU Tweak II from Asus
Running silent Mode (slightly downclocked) Preset in GPU Tweak II

Now Patch 1.12 hit, and i will test my configuration in that environment.

Update:
Works well with 1.12 so far,
the above changes alow me to play free of crashes.

Tested 3 Sessions:
1. 1,5 hours
2. 1 hour, tabbing out and back in
3. 45 min

I have ASUS ROG G752VS but the game still crashes on me after i followed your steps.

Could you please the game is still running smoothly on your laptop as of patch 1.40?
