I, as a huge spellforce 1 fanboy, never thought I'd say this but this game might actually be better than it. The story is amazing, so many rpg and rts elements were improved, the voice acting, the overall atmosphere and the music are just great.

and just like All fur-coat said - its a pretty decent nice game ^^ ( i was a bit sceptically at the start but this is gone )
one point - the workers are ai - but i can live with as long as they run for my stuff :P

it is a bad game, not a spellforce one anymore.. ever wondered why two last spellforce 2 expansions have so bad ratings? those were made under different publisher/devs who should stop butchering the franchises they bought licenses for..

I would give it a 5 out of 10.
It is a decent game.
Decent, avarage, mundean, nothing special.
Which is also what makes it worth buying.
Most games are crap.
Having a game that is accauly decent is a rarity.
In fact having a decent game is a so rare it is mystical.
Most are crap, few are good to be decent means you need to not bad but not be good either.

i played all spellforce games/dlc/addons - SF3 is on the same way (ofc it takes playtime to see it)

Played Spellforce 1 24/7 before Sf3 release. I am so sorry that you can't afford it.

times changed - so playstyle and games too
i cant see any bad on SF3 - sure a SF3 like a SF2 would more fun for me - more spells more workers etc
and at this times we can be very happy with this game - no lootboxes;pay-to-win content or anime-style crap

Times has changed, for the worse.
SF3 is oversimplified, on-rails, player´s hand holding game with joke of an RPG progression and RTS elements with depth of a puddle. Time has changed, greedy devs trying to appeal to everyone, creating a generic uninspired mess in the process.
If all you need to be happy about a game is lack of micro-transactions, then holy sh!t..

i happy with -cause all this other ♥♥♥♥ these days doesnt apply on SF3
the last good rts game was starcraft 2 / the last good rpg divinty original sin 2 lol - so yeah i enjoy SF3
and yes you are right - times changed worse - but we cant do anything do we? so just enjoy little pearls like this - just look at warhammer series .... a nightmare
