But there is a door in that map that is locked and needs an oversized key...
Anyone that has found the proposed 'second' Oversized Key in here ? Created a bug report for it.

Alistair drops 5x 'Potion of Fresh Start'. Esben drops nothing.
Can you post a screenshot with the inventory including 2x the 'Oversized Key' ?
But i don't think it's a bug... As I said earlier maybe, as this game as multiple questlines and you get often back to the same map, that door and key are related to another quest later on.
I remeber myself searching for the first oversized key everywhere on the very first mission but that wasn't supposed to happen yet :P
unfortunaly not since i did not manually save the last two maps before i restarted the campaign and on the savegame before that i did not have a second oversized key.
however i do remeber a dialog about that door on my revisit to greykeep where my char said that person x shouldnt worry since a guard left them the key and i do think i looted the room on my first visit.
Spoiler:
Does that mean letting Alistair live, later allows the second 'Oversized Key' to be gotten from him ?

[3] You know me, Alistair.
... both allow Alistair to live, provided Dig is not in your party. Dig can be forced off the party in a dialogue after he attacks any enemy in the Greykeep courtyard. After that, he moves off towards and attacks the nearest soldier, dying.
If you kill all enemy patrols but a single one BEFORE initially freeing the 5 prisoners in Greykeep: Prison, Dig will keep on moving towards the main cortyard gate after being forced off the party (after slaying the last soldier patrol and initiating his dialogue) and stay there forever, not dying.
Edit: Named him Dig because the original word is changed to ♥♥♥♥
Doing the quest in this order allows the other 4 prisoners to escape, neither Alistair nor Esbern will comment on them. One of the Prisoners will say the very same sentences as Dig would. The quest is successful.
Edit2: The Spellforce 3 Reforced Edition locked the dialogue choice to only:
[1] It's not how it looks.

... for letting Alistair live. Next problem, getting Dig off the party can now only be done 1x, at the very first enemy patrol near the bridge after leaving the prison. If Dig is NOT yet in your party, you can NOT get him off your party thereafter so what you have to do is:
- dispose of all enemies inside the prison but do NOT leave it
- make the prisoners join your party
- leave the prison via the (optional) door / path
- Hard Save the game before opening the door with the Oversized Key to the 1st enemy patrol
> this isnt the 2nd Key this thread is about but the 1 near the Enlightment Shrine
- Dig will initiate Dialogue after opening the door and attack the 1st enemy patrol
- get him off your party via Dialogue choice [1]
- defend him as he runs off towards the main gate
- also defend the 4 other prisoners that will gladly run into enemy weapons
- save after each battle, the last one has 4x enemy soldiers
- Call of the Forsaken helps, you can also heal with Yria the entire group of prisoners
He will run towards a building in the NW area of the map and vanish. Check if you still have the other 4 prisoners with you and progress normally.
Note: Killing Alistair does NOT reward the 5x Fresh Start potion anymore, making sparing him and this ordeal of a process the right choice.
By the way. the 2nd 'Oversized Key' this thread is about, in the SF3 Reforced Edition, was renamed 'Treasury Key'.
