go back to school and learn some words, like troll
and yeah i say you play like that, not the game with its mechanics. useless discussion like i said before. and op was the biggest kiddo here.
Excited to try out the system this game is implementing.
Gold is for buying equipement/potions etc.
Yeah, but you are always in idiot mode. I mean ... you are a pita. Simple as that and nothing can be done about it.
So: yeah, tactical pause in single player please.
Maybe you should reflect on your personality ... there are big surprises ahead, trust me. :]
if they add things that these kind of people want i feel bad for gamingindustry
i am out of that kiddo behavior with so many smart people who what everyone wants and how to make ALL happy.
kiddofestival.
pls dev's dont listen to these guys. if they implement it i hope only in super easy difficulty so they stop complaining about a game
and if you insult people dont tell them that they should look at there own personality. even a 5 year old is better at getting facts as you nasenbuby
There are people who would love to play a game such as Spellforce 3 because it is a breath of fresh air in an industry that is plagued with games based on instant gratification and ADHD mechanics. Many people also suffer from imparements such as disabilities which limit their reaction time and ability to juggle too many things happening at once. Those who can should be grateful that they can, but the fact is there are people who can't.
It would be a complete travesty for a game development company to put soooo much time, money and effort into creating a game that would greatly beninfit from such a simple pause mechanic for single player that WON'T AFFECT ANYONE ELSES GAME but make it more accessible to those I just mentioned.
The fact that people are willing to protest against a feature that won't even affect their experience ONE BIT but benifit others greatly by making the game accessibly to them just shows how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ screwed up the gaming "community" has become. Too much cancer in this "community".
EDIT: Developers, please just add this feature and close this thread. Hearing people protest against something that won't effect them but help others is making me lose faith in the 'humanity' portion of humanity.
I`ve figured out a lot of things by now. I consider myself about average on this game now. No trouble beating normal ai and just starting competing one level above normal against the AI.
I still dont know how to use army commands (like stand your place and not hunt down enemies) and better micro of large army groups remains problematic.
I played a tense multiplayer battle today and it was a bit of a clickfast for who killed the other players hero fastest. I fumbled using the hero abilities. At least i tried to defend mine not the other way around. At larger groups units tend to move around eachother and not attack. They twitch around a bit instead of fighting. I did use like ahuge blob and could have placed my units more tactically. Probably did not take notice of unit counters at all.
If it doesn't take too much work for the developers, this option would allow people that think the game looks interesting but that aren't that quick or twitchy to enjoy themselves.
It'd be the best of two worlds: pause option for people that need a bit of time to react to new things, RTS system for competitive multiplayer or people that can't stand pause/want the challenge in singleplayer.
It'd allow everybody to have fun with the game on their level. To the people that are yelling that it would destroy the difficulty: see Starcraft 2. The game is explicitly balanced around high level competitive play with a competitive ladder system and international tournaments, but Blizzard also included comp stomps, arcade maps and co-op commanders vs AI experiences so people that aren't channeling their prior life as a Korean super mutant can enjoy it.
They could just implement the pause in singleplayer only.
It brings in money from the casual / fun crowd that goes towards funding more development / games for the crusty veterans.
A company could do worse than emulate that.
+1
However, I somewhat agree with Nyu. The attitude above of calling someone a troll just because he/she disagrees, is immature, ignorant and toxic. He posted a one line comment that simply showed an antagonistic position to the request.
I recommend the OP deals with that like a mature person. You posted a thread with a request, expect people who disagree. At last, this is a forum.
