The Difficultys are not right
Very easy is Ok but easy is very hard in my opinion. Almost 5 minutes after start they are going to attack my whole buildings.

Yeah, right. If very easy is OK for you, then play this (I'm doing this, too). If you get the hang of the game and your skills improve, switch to higher difficulty level for a new challenge.

Ok thanks. I was just a bit mad because i thought that its not even possible to make it against easy.

Well, it's less about the difficulty and more about the strategy used by and the nature of the AI. AI doesn't have to worry about micromanaging, about scrolling speed and all the other things that much.
What i've noticed is that the AI on 'very easy' doesn't seem to build elite units or care much about the late game and such things. As long as you can survive long enough, you'll be fine.
It's just that the AI plays aggressive and gets serious relatively fast. It plays to win, and because it gets some advantages from it's nature of being an AI it can be really difficult to win against at least hard and insane, while normal is still beatable. Means, as long as you play at least as aggressive as the AI while making the least possible mistakes.

I think it would be enough to integrate a rush protection and/or more strategies for the AI, chosen by the players.

In my experience the hard (and insane) AI are the ones that rush. Normal has the normal speed but can be easily outnumbered at the beginning an then stopped with the destruction of its buildings. If you think very easy and easy are difficult you are playing the game wrong. :p

I wouldn't say someone's playing it "wrong", but when you see yourself getting beaten up by the easy AI, it might be just possible that, ... well, you're not very good at the game - no offense meant. Given the game is just in Beta, has some unique mechanics and most people have little to no experience yet, I wouldn't judge the AI at such an early stage.

Personally, I haven't beaten the insane AI yet, but all others. It's just a matter of learning. Given however start you start with (a) a hero and (b) enough food to produce some units right from the start, I think that's already a rush protection. And if you think you really need it, you can build towers even at tier 1. I don't think the game needs any mechanical protections from certain strategies. Though, I haven't been "rushed" by the AI so far. But I wouldn't call it a "rush" to be attacked after 5 minutes into the game.


I would play more games and then see how you can handle the AI. To me, the AI feels alright so far. Might also have something to do with one's own playstyle. Spellforce 3 requires you to be aggresssive to a certain extent, i.e. you have to leave your main sector and claim other sectors as soon as possible.

Has anyone noticed in the 4ffa volcanic map that even the enemy diagonal from you attacks your regions at the beginning? Happened to me a few times, took me by surrpise given the distance.

i got beaten at the very easy difficulty first , once i learnt the mechanic i moved from very to hard , all inbetween very easy and hard are piece of cake , however hard do give a challenge , insane is still insane for me , but i guess with time we will be able to beat it once we learn the game better and more tricks

For me that have played a loot of game like this. i think it a good balance. insane is insane, easy is easy! But once u get a hang of the meacanics. I will be a looooooot better :)
