any way to host lan game only ?
so me and wife trying to play localy ?

we can see each others game on big world lobby we can both connect to other peoples games and play but we cant connect to our own games.

so wondering if anyway to just skip going out to internet and then back in and just conenct via LAN IP

seen there option to hid the hosted game from the online lobby so there most be way to not have to use the online lobby right ?

so yah intenet play works we can even connect to same game if its not on our local side ether one of us can host a game and someone elese can connect to it but we just can not connect to each other via local connection using the lobby.

she gets option for password and then just sits there.

the third time we tryed it when she joined it kicked me off of the lobby and shut down my game.

so sseems to be an issue with LAN play in this game.

If i have understood it correctly.
Only through online Connection. Something like "Client -> Online Authentication Server -> LAN/Online PvP/Co-Op Game, Join a Server or Host Server"

in December 21st 2021 was last time me and my wife where able to play game mutiplayer on same LAN side.

it seems what ever they did sense then to the multiplayer messed up the multiplayer for lan games for us.

we also can not connect using the steam lobby stuff join local so forth
for example steam wont show anything local as being hosted period on LAN but game does show up in steam lobby UI online but steam UI wont show any guild 3 local games any more.

it is almost as if only one machine on LAN can use a port at a time.

I was bit curies at this so, I had my wifes machine host and her sister was able to connect to it via online over internet then we took hers down and i hosted and her sister could connect to my machine.

so then had both my wife and me host game and her sister could not connect to ether of us.

now i can ping my wifes machine and i can ping my machine form her machine and there no anti virus running on ether machine for testing.

for testing router is set up for passall so there no port blocking on local and online side.

also as stated in 2021 there was no LAN issues of any type with the game.

I think you should contact support about this.
There are a pinned topic here in steam forum you might want to look in to.
