cant play online totally busted
As far as i could research the Press Review Version got leaked and Players using it would automatically get the "Player X was disconnected" Message
After 1.02 the Game works flawless since Pirates cant try to connect anymore
You need to look that you connect to 1.02 games all the other are Pirated Versions and wont work
At me nothing changed except the 1.02 update, since then everything works flawless...
Really good, Ai plays for lacking Players at start then during Game new Players can connect and take over from AI, and when Players leave AI also takes over..
When Host leaves the Game, there is Host Migration to next best PC, so even when the Host and all other Leave you could keep playing with AI and also save and load.
Yesterday we had a 10 Player Game on London... its really perfect MP now considering Netcode, no out of sync, no lag, no weird stuff.. all works like i hoped now
Do they have this needed Ports open ?
If you have a restrictive firewall then you may have to manually open the following outgoing ports to be able to play in multiplayer
61111 TCP & UDP
36895 TCP & UDP
36975 TCP & UDP
It works really good when the mentioned Ports are open, all there whats needed, Drop In MP, Ai Takeover, Host Migration....
Basically all the features which also allows Civilisation Games to be played MP
Problems where caused by the leaked Press Review Version and Pirate Players which had access to MP, but would automatically disconnect.
