Well, THEY CANNOT do pretty much everything the master and 2 hands can do, but they are definitely useful:
They can be used as water carriers, controlled manually (active micromanagement), and thus to bring necessities and intermediate products to the companies or to fetch them from other companies.
So you can save yourself every stupid AI carter.
Of course, you can simply put them in important companies as workers for 24/7.
You can always put them on pedestals to advertise.
You can put them in important positions.
You can only have 20, usually. With luck a few more.
very handy at a barbers - as they can serve the over night customers. always seem to have a line 5 or 6 folks long every night at my Barbers.. when normal workers are sleeping. (not sure about inn - havent tried it yet. thats next play through. lol
