Building number limit

hi i have been playing now and i notice that i have a limitation in the buildings i can build, is there a way to increase that number count??

See the tooltips of Nobility Titles you can buy. A lot of them increase the maximum number of businesses you can own.

Is there are screen that tells you how many buildings you are allowed at a given time?

In the "Budget Book" (second icon in the top left corner of the screen) you have tab called "Businesses" The tab headline shows you how many businesses you own and how many you currently are allowed to own.

Funny enough, currently you can go over your cap by buying business buildings already existing. Seems like the maximum is 10 at max Rank.

In my current game i'm at 16/7 - just because i bought already existing ones.

I have a game running in which I own 32 buildings but I'm eligible for 6 or 7 buildings with my current status.
