Loading online games list...
When I click to join a multiplayer game, this is the only message I see. It does not update and I see no games to join them. Is this normal, or?

Hi cobblewobble,
This sounds like either there are currently no games in the lobby phase where you could join, or there is an issue with your game connecting to the lobby service.

Please make sure the following ports are opened on your firewall:
- 61111 TCP & UDP
- 36895 TCP & UDP
- 36975 TCP & UDP

Please let me know if that helps.

No games could be up too. Unless you are trying to join a game you know exists.

Hello. I have opened my ports. I know the game was being hosted as I organized it with my friend. It does not work.

The new error message I am receiving after port forwarding,

"Disconnected from authentication server."

Back to no error message, just sits on "waiting on games list." It tells me my "login failed" if I return to the part where I enter my multiplayer name after sitting there for a while.

Figured I'd post an update: went to bed, woke up. Left my computer on.

Servers are showing up on the server list. Looks like it's working fine now. Didn't do anything.

Thanks for the update,
that does sound strange. There are still some issues we have to get rid of in the networking pipeline, so I guess there was something that prevented your computer from connecting to the lobby service. Did the issue occur again after a reboot?

No idea. My friend was having the same issue at the same time as me. ( He had rebooted his computer by the time we were ready to play and it worked for him as well. )

Unfortunately, when we actually got into our multiplayer game the person 'joining' the session will crash after making their character and hitting play. We tried restarting, rebooting, reinstalling. We both tried being the host as well.

same problem, crash

Yes,
the issue with crashes while trying to join a session is known and we are working hard on fixing the problem. As a workaround for now: a lot of people have reported that this seems to happen less often when using a VPN service.
