Stop with the negative reviews!

I don't know where people got this idea from that Early Access means the game is near to complete. There are no guidelines to Early Access. Steam recommends you read the game's page before electing to support EA. Don't mash buy then complain the game doesn't work. Negative placemarker reviews are just as pointless.

The game is clearly in an alpha state and dev roadmap explains that major bug fixes and UI improvements are still to come.

Right now the Guild 3 has mixed reviews, creating the impression that the game sucks. This hurts public perception of the game, and even if the build improves to the point of being near perfect by release, that negative opinion will still be hanging around. Weak public perception of the game can also become a self-fulfilling prophecy. With poor potential sales, they may not be able to put the time into the game to be able to polish it.

Save judgement until release. If you want to leave a placeholder, or review-to-be-updated, mark it positive and note your reservations at the top of your review. Something like "This game is still in an unfinished state, and I can't recommend anyone buys it at this stage unless they're interested in supporting its development."

Saying things like "The fans wanted it" is just stupid.
Noone held a gun against them forcing them to release it.
Noone forced them to lie about the state the game was in saying it is almost complete when they are only about 50% complete.
Noone forced them to make several game mechanics worse and to remove key features from the game.

The problem in my case is that I don't have much choice. I'm unable to play the game, so I shouldn't recommend it at this time.

You're crying about an unfinished game thats not set for release for another year, you think the build we have right now is the latest version? I bet you its not, and EA was demanded, they was not going to release an EA ever!, they stated it on their face book page, but it was highly demanded, so they would of either threw together a semi playable build, or tossed one out that is ready for the bin, so in theory they never had a demo or a build for us, we got a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ build thats prob 2 years old, or just used for testing, the build they are working on is peobably as they say almost play "worthy" but we wont get that until they have tweaked it added things etc, just hold ya horses, they said 2018 its 2017, we got a EA to play with that was never meant to of seen the light of day.

The game isn't playable. If I were to give it a negative review it would be that they took my money and all I can do is walk around town. I wan't able to build anything.

I think a lot of people feel like they took money they weren't entitled to take. I feel a litte ripped off, but have also fully enjoyed The guild 2 and expansions so I do have faith they will complete the game. I just hope I'm not in another game by the time that happens.

So as of now I'm going to wait to review the game and just ask for a refund! I am excited about the game though for sure!

They have said they want this to be a fantastic game, it was never meant for EA, check their facebook its states it there no EA, people begged for it, if they was never gonna release an EA because they dont have one, but people begged for it, all they can do is give you a test version, its been in EA 5 days, they will probably give us a more up to date version in the coming weeks, the version we have could be donkeys old.

So what reason do they have to LIE about their game being almost finished?
Their sales page is basically a scam, it is so bad I am surprised steam hasn't turned off their purchase button because so many people are being scammed into purchasing a product that is nothing like they say on their sales page and by the time many of them realize it it is too late to refund it.

They will not deliver what people want or what they said they would do in 2018.

Also the previous games the developer has made has been very buggy and with major bugs that they never fixed, I expect the same thing to happen with this game.

And a lot of the negative feedback has nothing to do about it being in EA.
It is about them removing features (because they either don't know how to program them or because they want to save money on development time) and changing many major gameplay aspects of the game when they said it would be like The Guild 2 but improved.

They said they would take what was good in The Guild 2 and improve it.

They removed many of the features that people like the most like Interior, Bank, Church, ability to play several of family members at the same time.
