Additionally, i believe there are also indicators for previous builds of the game.
So even if we do review, and it gets updated, people will see the review is outdated
Those games you mention also have negative reviews going back to before release, so that point is moot.
Yes but whether EA review or not it still counts. Lots of people make really redundant and stupid EA reviews that never go away and forever affect sales and impressions.
Like..
1. Bad game, dont buy.
2. cant run on 10000x6000 resolution. Thumbs down
Stupid ♥♥♥♥ like that.
Each person that buys the game goes in with certain expectations. If their expectations are not met, they are free to post a negative review.
It's also why steam doesn't allow you to just post a thumbs up/down. You have to actually write something.
You can easily put in a few minutes of effort to see if the negative reviews are low-effort trolling.
Well forgive me for trying to change people minds. There is nothing wrong with my suggestion.
If you saw a game that's been out for 6 months, and no one has reviewed it... don't you think you'd be a little suspicious?
If they where to gift it to me for testing OK, but when I pay money for a product I will judge it.
For most part EA became an excuse to discredit everyone who says something bad about a game while still demanding the full price.
The steam reviews should specify which build version the reviewer reviewed based on the date of the review and what version was available, and ask the user if they would like to update their review - other than that.... you are way off base!
It's gonna ruin everything.
I agree fully with this, please do not do this, you buy EA, It isn't fully finished, there will be bugs and things you will get annoyed by, so please, if you even do this, give it a thumb up, just only because those who wanna play this game, got the thing they want, the release in EA.
