Barcode Scanner?

I'm missing something... the scans clearly have barcodes overlayed but the scanner just won't read them no matter what I do. What am I doing wrong?

You have to scan the heads of the three members and then scan them all like there were only one code.

Oh... duh... no idea why I didn't try that. Zero Escape makes me feel really dumb sometimes haha.

i tried this but is it a specific area or the whole thing, i scanned in a straight line and nothing happened

Once all three bar codes are on the monitor, break out the scanner and hold down the left mouse button as you bring it across from either Carlos' barcode to Akane and then Junpei's, or Junpei's barcode to Akane and then Carlos'. Left to right or right to left. Don't turn the scanner off as you're doing this.
