PC or 3DS version? Differences?

Should I buy the PC or 3DS Version? What exactly are the differences? Does either of them have some exclusive functions...? Whats with graphics? Does it matter or is the difference very subtle? Also, good game for on the way?

Hi, I played through the DS version and the PSvita version (I love this game series). Anyway, I've only played about 3 hours on the PC version, and it is the exact same as the DS/PS Vita versions. I mostly play handheld games, and I don't play that many PC games, so I personally prefer the DS/Vita versions simply due to the convenience of them. The graphics are best on the PS Vita and the PC versions, and only slightly worse on the DS. But the graphics do not look bad on the DS (and the screen is obviously smaller). As far as I know, none of the versions have exclusive functions. I travel frequently between Europe and the USA, so I played this game during long airplane rides, and I think it is a great way to pass the time when you travel (which is why I prefer handheld games). I think I would buy the DS version if I were you, due to the convenience (it is a good game on the way). And if you buy it preowned on the DS, then you can get if for cheaper as well. However, I would not recommend buying this game if you haven't played the two previous games in the series (999 and Virtue's Last Reward)

Woah. Thanks for the long comment. Very much good info in it. I guess I will buy it sometime.
I didn't even know there were other parts of the game before... Just looked them up though and I will probably buy them too on my 3DS. Maybe sometime in the next months. Im still busy with other games like Pokemon Sun, heh.

This is the third game, the first 2 are available as a DS release and a 3DS one, and you can probably still find both. I think the DS version of the first game is the best, and for Zero Time Dilemma PC is best, since 3DS doesn't look as good.

There's also an HD fully voiced re-release coming early next year, it's on Steam as "The Nonary Games", and will include both the first 2 games in one.

If not I guess I might just buy the game(s) on PC.

For now only confirmed for PC and PS4/Vita, but you never know.
