My guess is they chose to ignore it because they had bigger issues to deal with at the time.

Read the epilogue files.

I agree with That Nearsighted Guy, so it didn't bother me so much during the game. But oh man did this annoy me once they had escaped. They went out of their way to establish that everyone had ALL their memories and yet no one turned to her and said, hey psycho, what's your damage? Not only did she rip hearts out, she released the virus on purpose.

Read the files unlocked after completing the game. Mira does have to deal with the consequences, is all I will say.

Released the virus, killed Eric's mother (which led to his brother's death), indirectly killed both of Akane's parent's, led to the circumstances that caused Sean's death, and murdered Junpei (leading to either Akane's death and Carlos losing a hand or Carlos' death), Diana, Sigma, and Phi only hours before... And those are just the personal connections, not the many other people she murdered in the past. She's either directly killed or been the immediate cause of pretty much everyone else's deaths along with a number of loved ones. It's pretty ridiculous for everyone to just sort of ignore that.

You meant the virus release Delta explicitly set up in the first place? For all intents and purposes we can assume he mindhacked her throughout, since he is alive and well in that timeline and for the most time was literally next to her.

You missed the biggest offender of them all, the snail (or the parasite on it). Life is simply unfair, don't you think?
I'd say the only reason you single her out from SHIFTers is because their misdeeds aren't as graphically shown, or hard to show in a single graphical scene, as hers.
Akane sent down to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 8+ timelines during VLR. Almost all of them branch in two, one for ending and one for bad end, so it's like 16+ timelines. All of that just so she had a perfect timeline, which still has like 5 bad ends until all conditions are met. Mira with her 17 something killstreak looks like an amateur compared to that.

sincerely, the part that I struggle to believe the most is that Eric was able to CONVINCE her to turn herself in. She's literally just keeping him around to harvest his heart once she decides to learn what love is. Her and Eric's consciousnesses were only uploaded to the cloud on that final jump, so neither of them should have access to her revelation, right? Or are all consciousnesses from all timelines just stored by default?

oh my god, that's almost worse. I can't imagine having to sift through all the timelines where I put milk instead of cream in my coffee and the day was otherwise 99% the same just to find the one where I killed someone. If they're given to you all at once, that would be an insane sensory overload--I'd expect you'd just straight up get reverie disorder.

not that any of this timey-wimey stuff makes actual sense; delta would never need to mess with the timestream to ensure his own existence, since in all existences we see, he already is the way he wanted to be, and no one is "erased" by a different timeline not being fulfilled

she's also just a really, REALLY bad and cruel misrepresentation of borderline personality disorder
