and i wasn't requesting this from sega
i was just making conversation, so calm down already
It would just be nice to be able to play the first version properly to see the evolution of it all
the saturn version just doesn't feel right
Only thing is there can be framedrops in the replays.
"The arcade version of the game was re-released on the Astro City Mini in 2020. It notably features upscaled graphics and fully transparent shadows compared to the original. "
Notice that you asked why people still play Street Fighter 2. Not Street Fighter 1.
The first games in their respective series are, quite frankly, terrible. It was the second games that were actually worth playing.
Virtua Fighter 1 was more a proof of concept than a viable fighting game.
in my head it always started with two, i don't know why
back in the day i never saw an arcade cabinet with it
but i always saw the virtua fighter 1 arcade cabinet
I've seen Street Fighter 1 in the arcade. Even played it a couple times. It's pretty bad. I'll grant you that Virtua Fighter 1 is a better game than Street Fighter 1.
It's a shame, too. I would love to be able to play Virtua Fighter 1-5 (or at least 1-3) on my Switch.
LOL. you could apply this to a lot of games buddy. How about a collection with improvements, added goodies, steam features along with it etc.
