Virtua fighter 1? anhybody else hoping for this ?

Anbybody else hoping for this now that we "officially" have a virtua fighter game on the pc?
I have that windows 95 game that was released back in the day but i cant get it to run now
also the saturn version just doesn't compare
please just give us an arcade accurate port of virtua fighter 1!

No offense, but why would you want to play that ancient game? Just buy the 30th Anniversary Edition, the legendary pack DLC is available there.

because i like nostalgia and i still enjoy the original which i have fond memories of
it doesn't play like the rest, imo
i could say why bother playing street fighter 2 could when you could play all the rest, and people still play street fighter 2

On PS5, the legendary pack only has 1 VF1 level, and then models. Not the actual game itself. It's scope is very very limited.

I prefer the 32x version on Mega Drive. I play it on RetroArch. You can download it right here on Steam, it's free and legal.

Nope... Don't get the wrong idea, I'm a retro gamer myself, I love playing old games. But in the case of VF, or other fighting games, such as Tekken, the first one was ancient in term of gameplay. It's nice to have as collection, but playing it mostly for novelty.

Would definitely be cool to have VF1 in some format, if nothing else to see how far things have come.

I remember being able to jump like 30 feet in the air in VF1. Was kinda fun lol.
