Frame Rate Issue
my game seems to always slow down for some reason and speed up, only when playing online. Also I noticed the game will not allow me to change the frame rate to 60fps. when I do and save, it reverts back automatically. I get terrible performance

I have 9900K

it happens when I use any settings. medium to high. DLSS on or off.

So online only, no slowdown when you were playing offline? Perhaps it was your opponents's potato PC that causing the slowdown.

It doesn't look like regular netcode lag, more like his game engine is running at 60FPS but the rendering engine is only like 30FPS.

My advice is take the full troubleshooting path. Set every single graphics setting to as low as possible, turn off the DLSS and vsync. See if like that you have the same issue, and if it's better then you cna slowly turn things on one by one to see what works.

If everything is off and it still slows down, you might need to try reinstalling the game.

What is strange, when I set the frame rate to 60, it saves, but when I enter the settings again, it's at 120. I wonder if something like this is happening online? I'll have to try this tomorrow

The crappy part is I have to test this against live opponents :( So sorry guys for the 1 and done

I think I figured it out. This game does not like my 480hz monitor. When trying to lock it to 60, it jumps to 120. This causes issues.

the monitor I have is

LG - UltraGear 32" OLED Dual Mode (4K UHD 240Hz,FHD 480Hz), 0.03ms NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, AMD Freesync Pro Gaming Monitor - Black
Model:32GS95UE-B.AUS
SKU:6575402

When I play it on a 60Hz monitor, all the issues went away.

Yeah good idea
How are you connected to the internet?
I have the EXACT same issue, and I never had it during the beta. In my case I tried reverting back to older drivers, reinstalling the current drivers, I have reinstalled every possible thing and this will still happen, smh.
Very strange. Is there any settings in the nvidea options to force set the frame rates? I'm wondering if something is overwriting the game settings.

But yeah, could be a bug.

I have tried absolutely everything except using rivatuner. I just chled it up to it not liking that monitor. It's strange it only happens online.

My other TV can only go up to 60hz and it just works. Very bizzare.

Are you using a gaming display?
I had a similar problem, but turning off G-SYNC fixed it.
Give it a try.

That was the very first thing I did and it did not work. It just hates this monitor. The frame rate would always revert to 120fps in the settings, regardless if me locking the frame rate in GeForce control panel

I have a 1660s oc overclocked and i have consistent fps for all games. Even cyberpunk on my gog has well over 60. But im not dissing u. Gpus are a strange thing because u dont always know how they behave with certain games and what drivers are better for certain games. Be glad u have nvidia. Amd is more like the tweaking kind. Also good but u need to use your brain more for amd gpu
