Versus CPU
I know this game is mainly focused on online and the single player modes are quite barebones, but it still hurts that the only way to play against a CPU is through arcade mode...

¿Do you think they will patch the versus mode to play against CPU (with different difficulties) at some point? It shouldn't be such a work for the developers. Also some kind of "endless" mode would be great.

Seeing that they are realeasing an update soon, let's see if they patch this at some point at least.

Not exactly same but, Try to use Free Training in Training Mode.
You can set up the opponent(CPU)'s expert Level from 0(dummy) to 5,
and more details.
This mode is Round-less so Endless as you want.

I was more sad that arcade mode seemingly nerfed. In VF2 or VF4, difficulty there ramps pretty quickly and provides challenge. Meanwhile here it's... idk... I don't ask for AoF2 alike torture difficulty, but still.

E.g. in older games, if you have no deep idea what you're doing and mashing, game will crash you on 2nd or 3rd opponent in arcade. Meanwhile here, regardless of "easy" or "very hard" setting, it stays the breeze. until when it's almost over. What's the point then? And I question this as total newbie myself (but I used to poke for fun with previous games).

Arcade Mode is nerfed? I think it's been improved from VF5 US on the PS4, I could beat Very Hard pretty easily on that but the difficulty here has gone up significantly.

Perhaps I misremember?

Looks like others were concerned and did (or overdid, dunno):

Yep, in training mode you can adjust the behavior of the dummy, its life, etc... training mode its actually pretty good in terms of options. But still its not a "proper" match.

My point is that, even though the game is focused on online gameplay and its kind of difficult to offer a wide mode variety for a fighting game, the possibility of doing free matches against the CPU should be a given. With the "endless" thing I was more thinking in a kind of "survival" where you can keep fighting opponents until you are defeated.

Anyways, let's hope they will patch this in the next update or something.
