You can set up the opponent(CPU)'s expert Level from 0(dummy) to 5,
and more details.
This mode is Round-less so Endless as you want.
E.g. in older games, if you have no deep idea what you're doing and mashing, game will crash you on 2nd or 3rd opponent in arcade. Meanwhile here, regardless of "easy" or "very hard" setting, it stays the breeze. until when it's almost over. What's the point then? And I question this as total newbie myself (but I used to poke for fun with previous games).

Yep, in training mode you can adjust the behavior of the dummy, its life, etc... training mode its actually pretty good in terms of options. But still its not a "proper" match.
My point is that, even though the game is focused on online gameplay and its kind of difficult to offer a wide mode variety for a fighting game, the possibility of doing free matches against the CPU should be a given. With the "endless" thing I was more thinking in a kind of "survival" where you can keep fighting opponents until you are defeated.
Anyways, let's hope they will patch this in the next update or something.
