Anyone else getting severe performance issues in Training Room stage during online play?

At first I assumed it was a connection problem, but it's happened to me against 3 different people now, one of whom I had just played with no issues in a different stage. It only happens in this stage. The FPS tanks, ping shoots up, and the graphics get fuzzy for some reason. I have a pretty modern CPU that can handle Tekken 8 no problem, and it only happens during online matches. Any ideas?

If graphics are getting fuzzy then disable upscaling. I play on that stage and it's normal but I have depth of field, motion blur, ssao, and dlss disabled.
