Been a while since I played but.... there's nothing?
I don't remember if you have to unlock costume C and D
I know Ultimate showdown Never even touched what was possible in Final Showdown but I didn't think it could sink lower.
Final Showdown had items that could give you unique Win Pose etc.
and they just dumped it into the bin when US came out for reasons I will never understand. and they stripped it even more?

I'm reading this right?? If we don't buy the Yakuza DLC we don't access the normal customization items? Isn't a way to unlock them by playing? That sounds very weird.

yep, only default costume a and b

Wow... you are absolutely right! The DLC description says it unlocks 650 customization items and the VF3 soundtrack. This is insane. I never preordered the 30th anniversary edition as I don't care for crossover DLCs and now I realize I've been content blocked from most of the stuff from the original game. :steamsad:
So, to get costume C and D you need
Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. - Virtua Fighter Legendary Pack DLC

Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. - Yakuza Series Collaboration Pack DLC
adds additional, non-customizable costumes, and

Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. - TEKKEN 7 Collaboration Pack DLC
adds even more non-customizable costumes?
I got the Yakuza DLC expecting more options for customization but all it added was a few more hair options for all characters, am I missing something?
Is there no longer a quest mode?

Was removed way back in Final Showdown 13 years ago.
I bought all the dlc.
you can barely customize anything, even compared to vf5fs.
you're only changing pants/shirt color and you can't pick the swimsuits for customization at all.
I have the 30th edition, all dlc is installed but I can still only choose costume A and B :-/

In original VF5 you unlock stuff in quest mode. In ultimate showdown you need to buy legendary and yakuza pack. Yakuza pack unlock costume D. REVO probably have same logic.

what about normal customization items?
In the original VF5 you earned customization items from offline Quest mode. It's also very similar to Tekken quest mode, you get offline ranks and items for winning. Specific items if you beat the person wearing the rare item.
At some point they removed all the offline stuff besides arcade, vs and training. There are no offline items.
This game is 19 years old now. Sadly, this is the worst version of the game, with the previous update being the second worst. The focal point changed the moment online was a factor and they've been giving you less and less content every release. Now you basically have nothing.

Something worth noting, the beginning retail version of VF5 did NOT have online gameplay on PS3, only included on the later 360 version, and didn't get online on ps3 until Final Showdown released. Noting the track record, people might want to refund rather then wait for this to work.

je veux gagner les accessoire pas les acheter
Damn, I don't want any Yakuza or Tekken stuff in my Virtua Fighter.... :( They must do separate dlc for customisation only. Crossovers with other series should only be for those who want them...
its okay guys the people who want them wont be getting it for like five months (2024.6.27 (?) is when the legendary, Like A Dragon/Yakuza and TEKKEN7 costume DLCs drop (and they're probably identical to the ones in VF5:US). no clue why it's several months after release but im not sega)

To extend on SoruBro if someone reads this

it says this:
Includes:
・650 Character customization items
・19 Character costumes
・19 Yakuza series character costumes
・20 Yakuza series BGM
・20 "Virtua Fighter 3" arranged BGM
・40 Spectator stamps

Under the Yakuza Pack one, WHICH I did buy back then on PS4. so yeah those 650 items are there.
I was confused cause I thought you needed all 3 DLC and it's been so long, and I have this one but not this one and it's a mess in my head.
Anywhere have a breakdown of the 650 items?
