Yakuza in VF6 or a Yakuza Fighter?
If you could choose, you'd bring Kiryu and Majima to Virtua Fighter 6 as guests (like Final Fight characters, now canon in Street Fighter) or create a spin-off fighting game based on the Yakuza universe, with characters from all games including the dead and too old (like Yakuza Dead Souls did)?

Fighters Megamix (1996) was a great crossover fighting game with Virtua Fighter. It added a ton of combo stuff and game play fighting style that wasn't in Virtua Fighter normally. Dramatic change in combat. I'd rather they did that. They need to focus on balancing and developing the characters they have rather than adding a ton of new guys. What would the Yakuza fighter's style be? Cheating?

By your question I'm not sure if you've played Yakuza, it's pretty much a 3D beat'em up. Kiryu has been requested as guest in Tekken since they 2010 (the oldest posts I've found), so in Virtua Fighter he'd be much better. But Megamix is cool indeed, I'd forgotten about it, that'd be better than a Yakuza Fighter.

I haven't played Yakuza. I misread what you meant by a Yakuza fighter. If that is anything like Sifu, that would be really cool to have a beat em up mode for each guy to develop their back stories. Short levels in between the versus fights...

For VF5 "world" I think it would feel really weird to have Kiryu/Majima along all these serious fighters in the tournament setting, but with the direction VF6 seems to be going I think they would fit better.

I have mixed feelings about guest characters. On one hand, I'm wary of watering down the essence of VF just to grab more attention and sales. On the other one, how great would it be to play with characters from Streets of Rage, Shinobi, Shenmue, etc :lunar2019laughingpig:
